Our Apple Harvest is in full swing! This week we’ve got Gala, Jonagold, Liberty, Paula Red, and an heirloom apple called Domine which has a tart, crisp flavor.
We will be open for PYO each day from 9:00 am to 6pm. Because we will be closing promptly at 6pm, we ask that you time your visit to arrive no later than 5:30 pm for picking. Please keep in mind that picking pressure can outpace the availability of ripe fruit, some come early.
Apples picked from the trees are $1 a pound, and if you’re making apple sauce you can collect dropped apples for $6 a bucket, or $25 a bushel. We also sell other local produce at our PYO stand.
For up to the minute information, just call our automated line (540)338-6642 before you leave home. Click here for directions.
If you are a group leader or tour operator, please click here for information about group visits.
Crooked Run NEVER charges an admission fee, and parking is always free, too. You pay only for what you pick, or pick up from our stand. No dogs, please, due to sanitary reasons. We have several picnic tables that you’re welcome to enjoy with your family… see you at the orchard!
