26 08 2012

We will be open Wednesday Aug 29 to Sunday Sept 2, from 9am – 5pm, for PYO.

Blackberries: $3.00 / lb.
Pears: $1.50 / lb. (8 varieties)
Summer Apples: $1.00 / lb. (Paula Red & Tydeman Red)

Note that all fruits that have dropped (suitable for baking and cooking, not eating raw) are half-price by the pound, but if you pick a whole bucket you get a volume price. This is ONLY for drops.  Good deal for you canners and bakers.  Obviously, wash these fruits before cooking.

Containers are provided. No dogs please.

Please enter from the SECOND driveway from the traffic circle, not the first. See map page for more details.

Come, picnic, walk the orchards, and enjoy a day on the farm.

The information above about dropped apples says you get a volume price when you pick a whole bucket. How much is a bucket of apples and approximately how many pounds is in a bucket?
Thanks you,
Melissa
